Hello together,

First of all, thank you for J2Commerce 6.
We run a small agency in Germany and manage a number of Joomla websites; for us, it makes a real difference to have a native Joomla 6 commerce component that actually utilizes the CMS rather than bypassing it.

We are currently migrating a German VirtueMart shop (Joomla 5, for testing purposes) to J2Commerce 6 on Joomla 6 using the VirtueMart 3 adapter.
However, we also have English-language and multilingual projects that we would like to migrate.

During the German project, we encountered a few issues that might be of interest to you.
We used the wizard in the standard way and made no modifications to either the component or the source database.

I have attached a brief summary outlining what we observed and what we suspect might be the causes.
These hypotheses are based on an examination of the code and could well be incorrect.

Thank you for the detailed bug-report. It's always a challenge migrating from other systems where we aren't super familiar with all the extension specific nuances. I am pushing up the updated virtuemart3 migrator plugin currently and you should have a notification once it's ready in the updates section for you. 

I am glad you are as excited about this project as we are and look forward to very big things for the community in the future. Danka!
