Hi guys, I got the gmail from Oliver, and he was able to send the ticket from my account with no problem. So I assumed it must be me.  With Oliver suggesting perhaps browser problems I opened up firefox and tried to send the ticket from there. Unfortunatly it did not work. But when I looked a the form (after the fail) a bit closer I noticed that on the website credentials box it noted and told me to use a full address https://dr-doolin.com once I entered this everything worked. I sent a test ticket.

I did the same thing in Google Crome the notice did not appear, previously I had entered  "dr-doolin.com"  so I could not understand why it didn't work. As it worked on other occasions when asked for my website address. Such a simple thing but the prompt didn't appear. The box loses its hightlight when you change anything but reappears when tried again. Again if the customer can get it wrong, they will. Or should I say I will.

So to the original problem I was having

Hi Guys, nothing major. I can't update from the Extensions: Update to the 6V 6-3-6 I tried the link but it
showed a 404 page.

With the J2Commerce Pro v4 4.1.4 update same thing but I used the link and downloaded the file and used
the Extension: Install and it worked Ok.

Thanks James.

I'll see that we make sure the website url gives users feedback properly.

Have you tried re-installing J2V v6 after your update to 4.1.4?

Olivier.

Hi James,

the link https://www.j2commerce.com/add-ons/pkg-j2commerce-v6/6-3-6/pkg-j2commerce-6-3-6-zip?format=zip won't work unless you are logged in to this website.

Have you entered the download id into the extension's global configuration ('Update' tab)?

Even though the extension is free, the updates from the Joomla console still require you enter the download id (information found in your account profile on this site).

I could not log in to your site with the credentials you provided, so I could not check myself.

Olivier.
