Antonio Cornacchia

Hi, I received a notification that version 4.1.4 is available, but the direct update from my site isn't working, and the version available for download on your site is 4.1.1.
I just wanted to let you know.

Antonio Cornacchia

I downloaded version 4.1.4 from the link that appears after the failed update and tried to install it.
I received the message shown in the screenshot:

Installation blocked: the following FOF library directories were found alongside the F0F library used by J2Store: fof40. Multiple FOF installations in the same Joomla instance cause class-loading conflicts. Please uninstall those libraries before installing J2Commerce. Check the libraries. If no library is present, you may have to delete the folder(s) manually. Error installing component Warning Extension Update: Custom install routine failure.

Hello Antonio,

This message is a warning that the fof libraries on your system were not removed or not removed properly.

Go to System -> Manage and check the libraries listed. If you have several libraries (having fof or f0f in the name), you need to keep the one that says 'do not remove'. The other ones need to be removed. They may also be present on your server, even if not listed.

If you are unsure, please list what you see in here and I will guide you.

Olivier.

Have I to completely remove the 2.4.3 version?

Antonio Cornacchia

On the second site where I use J2Commerce, upgrading from 4.1.3 to 4.1.4 I get:

Error updating: J2Store/J2Commerce Professional v4
Call to undefined method Joomla\Uri\Uri::base()

Olivier

Hi Antonio,

there was an issue in the installer plugin for 4.1.3. Fortunately, few users downloaded that version. 4.1.4 restifies it but you need to install it manually (not through the automatic updates, just download from your account and install).

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Oh, and to remove fof 2.4.3: I am surprised it is crossed off. In any case, you can safely remove the directory under /libraries. Just do not remove /f0f :-)

Olivier, thanks a lot for your replies.
In library directory there are these two f0f folder (please, see the attachment).

Antonio Cornacchia

Hi, I removed/uninstalled/deleted fof40 and all is ok now.
Thanks

Olivier

You are welcome, Antonio!
