Hi, whilst I’m waiting to find out what’s new in J2Commerce 6 (good luck, guys), I’d like to know if it’s possible to create or upload a list of coupons via a .csv file.
My client also sells through physical bookshops and wants to include a code in every copy of their book, which allows buyers to access the free bonus content available on the website. The coupons (let’s say 100 or 200) must all be different from one another; they can only be used once and only for a specific product. I already know how to grant access to the restricted content.
Is this possible via J2Commerce, or do I need to do it directly in the database?
Thanks

Hi Antonio.
To upload a list of coupons, you would probably need a tool like RO CSVI (https://rolandd.com/products/ro-csvi) to do it for you. It totally integrates with J2Commerce.
You can create a coupon with all the bells and whitles you need (one time use...), get the record out from the database then just change the coupon code and inject those back into the database. I would create the spreadsheet with the necessary columns for the one coupon, duplicate as many times as needed then inject those with RO CSVI.
Olivier.
