I have creaded the shop locally using xampp and uploaded it to my server.

The shop works fine till I add new products.

This new product can't be shipped.

From menu go to shampoo and add to cart the Keratherapy Moisture Shampoo, hit the estimate shipping and tax.

You will get nothing.

Now delete that and add to cart any other product. Hit the estimate shipping and tax and you will get the avilable shipping methods.

I thought it was an issue with the .jpa file I was using so I drop the shop and restore it with a new .jpa but still the same issue. All products created on local server works fine, new products added on new server do not ship.

I did though it was a j2commerce version issue and restore a previews version. Still nothing. New products do not ship.

Please help. Shop is live and do not know what cause the issue or how to fix it.

Georgios,

I changed this ticket to public so others could also learn from the following answer as well.  Your website credentials are not viewable by anybody else except us.

I checked out your site (Looks amazing by the way!) and the reason the shipping wasn't working was because you were using different weight values for the items. A product that displayed shipping rates had a weight in KG while the item mentioned in this ticket was set to 300 Grams so once I switched it to .300 KG, it was working again.

I also added the checkout menu item to the Hidden menu so the url was shorter and gave you more control over the most important menu item on your entire site :)

One suggestion that would make the UX a tad better is the Login link next to the cart icon - I would recommend one of the two options:

  1. Change login to a user icon so it doesn't show Login when a person is actually logged in on the front end
  2. Move it to the end of the main menu (as a menu item) and set the login to guest access level and create another menu item just after it titled Account and set the access level to registered.

I see lots of ecommerce sites all day long and this one has stood out for many good reasons! Great job!
