The only way I can think that could be possible is if you were to use the donate field with a gift certicate (and this is only theoretical). 

This is the first request I have ever seen for this so not something that would be on our radar anyime soon ( if the first option doesn't work 

Normally i would set up a flex variant product with variants in amounts like: 25,50,100,250,500

You can make them any number you wish, and then the buyer can select the amount, add the recipient and message.

If you're just using options then the price won't change until you add it to the cart. That's why I use the flex variant or you can use the regular variant product types which would change the price instantly when they select a dollar amount. You already created the options, so changing the product type to a flex or variant product type would make it look a lot slicker.

Abraham,

1. I saw the gift card set as a simple product when I logged in to the backed so I created a new flex variant product with the Amount option and added 3 variants 25,50,100 which changes the price displayed when clicking the value amount of each option.
2. The price didn't initially display because you had the menu item settings set to hide the sale price. (Base price only shows if it's different than the sale price). Once I enabled that setting in the menu item, the price then displayed again for both gift certificate products.
3. If you aren't seeing the one I created on the front end, I set the access level to superuser so make sure you are logged in on the front end to view it (I did not set the gift certifcate options for that one) - When it comes to ecommerce, the less friction the better. Having names for each value with a "key" in the description explaining what each name equals to is adding additional friction (instead of having them select the amount itself).

Values are set for the gift card under options (similar to where you created the original gift card options) the good thing with flex variant is you can add/remove a simgle variant without having to rebuild the entire product like the variant ones.

Not sure about the wishlist not displaying on that page however you are using the category page to essentially act as the product page for that item so there may be some items that are meant for the detail page that you aren't using...
