Good day to all of you at J2Commerce, We use J2Coomerce for our church organization, many donations and for making available our published books. We need to limit the checkout to allow for ONLY checkout allowed for those in the United States. We need an if/then statement in the checlout to look at the country field and if NOT in the US to stop the checlout process. We can program the PHP easily ourselves, but wish to ask which file (and what possible position in the file) would be best to edit. If you could provide that information, we would be most appreciative... Thanks Abp. Brian - United Episcopal Catholic Communion

To make sure I understand the wuestion correctly: You wish to only allow shoppers with a U.S. address to be able to complete the checkout?

if yes - you could simply go into the Localization > Countries menu - unpublish all the countries and then publish the United States only - this would give shoppers only one option for the country and the associated states.

 

If that option doesn't work, then please elaborate a little more on the use case so I can point you in the right direction...

Ok I got it! That is exactly what I need. I had looked into the Localization, but guess i read the docs wrong... laugh...
