Migrate from J4 to J5

I am wondering if you have directions for migrating from Joomla 4 to Joomla 5 with J2Commerce installed. The Joomla updater issues a warning for every J2 plugin, including the system plugin. If I turn off all plugins, I get the orange 500 error page. So I turned the system plugin back on in the database to restore the site. However, I still get upgrade warning on all the J2 plugings and modules.

Is J2Commerce actually compatible with J5!, or are there specific steps to take when upgrading?

Hello Robyn,

you can update from Joomla 4 to Joomla 5 without any problem.

However, you need to make sure the Joomla backward compatibility 'behavior' plugin remains turned on (it is on by default on upgrade from Joomla 4 to 5).

Just to be clear, I should ignore all Joomla updater warnings and proceed with the update, correct?
