Hi,

I am trying to add the mobile phone number provided by the customer at check-out to the admin email I receive when an order is placed.  I have tried editing the email template but it doesn't seem to have the desired effect, but in doing so I have managed to remove the customer's email address as well from the admin email.

Could you tell me how to put back the customer's email address and add their mobile phone number please?

Hello Bryan,

the phone number shortcodes you are looking for are

[BILLING_MOBILE] and [SHIPPING_MOBILE].

To recover from the email, in the template, you should see:

Customer: [BILLING_FIRSTNAME] [BILLING_LASTNAME]

Just add

<[BILLING_EMAIL]>

after it.

Olivier.

Hi Oliver,

I am still having no luck getting the email to reflect the changes I have made in the template.

I have attached some images to show you what I am doing.

1.jpg - The email template with the appropriate shortcodes inserted.

2.jpg - The preview of the template

3.jpg - The email that is received.

Hi Oliver,

I have finally sorted the issue.  I was trying to edit the template directly rather than via the dialogue box provided.  Once I did it this way the changes took effect.

Many thanks for your help and rapid response.

Kind regards,

Bryan
