Hi Peter,
go to Design -> Print templates.
Select the template you need to modify.
Check the Custom CSS parameter.
There you can enter CSS that is meant for [ITEMS]. This shortcode is a table so you can just set the font size on the table properties.
If you look at the source code of the table, you can find its specific id so you can target that table easily (in the visual editor, look for </> in the top bar, in the Joomla editor, look for the button 'Toggle Editor' below the editor).

great, thanks a lot. It’s working. I’ve just noticed, though, that the checkbox toggle for custom CSS parameters is disabled again after saving.
