Your stored email templates are out of date. The shop logo now carries an HTML height so it no longer renders at full size in Outlook and other mail clients. Open Email Templates and click <strong>Sync Core Emails</strong> to apply the update. Your packing slip, invoice and receipt layouts need the same update - open Print Templates and click <strong>Sync Core Print Templates</strong> there as well. <a href="https://www.j2commerce.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_j2commerce&amp;view=emailtemplates" class="btn btn-sm btn-warning ms-3 flex-shrink-0">

I have my own templates and don't want to use pre-made solutions. How can I get rid of these messages on the page? They keep popping up—I'd prefer they never show up if I don't want them to. The same applies to other messages, such as those during the store setup process, where a message keeps popping up telling me that I need to set the local time, even though everything on the server is set up exactly as it shou

Let me think of the best way to handle these. Would you mind sending me a screenshot of your email templates view so I can see the email format (file/joomla editor/visual editor) in your set up to see how we can improve the logic to recognize the difference in that use case?

I am hesitant to add an off/on toggle for the messages in general because there are valid notifications like the upcoming 6.6.4 that let's users know if they the joomla sef plugin is not set for strict urls , otherwise this is what actually lives on the site (including Joomla core articles):
 https://example.com/index.php?option=com_j2commerce&view=product&id=6927 → 200
https://example.com/graphic-kits/dirt/yamaha/yamaha-pw50-...-northstar-blue → 200

Strict url setting in the plugin (which is not default) ensures only the sef url exists instead of both sending users to the same product page (that most likely will look different since one is linked to a menu item and the other isn't) - although this isn't the issue related to this topic, it's an example of helpful tips that can make syour store even better.

There should be a way to allow you to turn off certain messages without shutting the system off altogether - let me see what I can do...

Hi

I created my own custom template. While I was at it, I also modified the tracking number to support automatic carrier detection. Customers can now click the tracking number to open the tracking page of the carrier they selected for their order.

Regarding the notifications, the current solution is quite frustrating because “Hide for this session” is only temporary. As soon as the administrator session expires, all of these informational messages appear again.
Some of them are reminders about optional actions that I simply don't want to perform - for example, parts of the new store setup process or other recommendations. Once I have decided that a message is not relevant to me, I don't need to be reminded about it every time a new session starts. I think Joomla's post-installation messages are a much better model: administrator/index.php?option=com_postinstall
A dismissed message should remain hidden across sessions, while still allowing the administrator to restore it later if needed. A simple persistent “Show/Hide messages” mechanism would solve this. This way, dismissing a message represents an administrator preference rather than a temporary session state.

Generally speaking, I would only ever show new items that I can hide after reading them, so I don't have to go back to them if I don't want to.
