Hi Warren,

I am looking into it.

So far, I swa you were missing proper settings in the media manager to support webp images, which I have fixed.

But that does not fix the issue with our own image manager. I have to dig deeper, as this is working perfectly fine on my test site.

Olivier.

Hi Oliver - did you get to the bottom of this? if its a joomla issue, then its not your concern, but the issue only appear to occour in the image upload area of j2C?

Hi Warren,

I have looked and I could not find the cause of this. It seems to be specific to your site because we have not been able to reproduce it on other sites. I would need.

I got back to it to try and find some clues...

Olivier.

Dont waste any time on it Oliver - its obviously not a J2Commerce issue, so its npot your problem - cheers Warren

Hello Warren,

we had the same issue on another website and it turns out this is an issue with the fileinfo PHP extension on the server.

The extension is enabled on your site and 'libmagic' (you can see it in the filefinfo section of your site when looking at System Information) is set to version 545 (all systems I have seen so far have version 5.45). This version of libmagic may not properly handle the file byte comparisons.

If you have the possibility to switch to a different version of PHP, you may get a different version and this could fix the problem (fileinfo needs to be enabled).

Olivier.
