Hi,

I have a multilingual site. All language versions setup (I think properly), all SHOP menus have visible submenus for: basket, checkout and my profile.

When I make the purchase in any language (e.g. german), when I click the proceed to checkout button (in the specific language version) I will be redirected to the checkout page. The checkout page properly showing up in the specific language (e.g. german), but the the menu bar is changing to the "all" languages setup (default english). So, the sepcific language menu bar (e.g. german) is disappearing. Customers won't recognize the problem, if they want to change something or look back to a page, they will see only the default english version, not sure they think about the flags again. Disappointing.

If I click on checkout submenu, I will be redirected to checkout page and I remain the same language menu, if I click my profile, I stay in the same languge menu. The manu bar is changing to the default only, if I click the proceed to checkout in basket page.

There is a problem with the order confirmation as well, and I guess the source of the problem is the same. When I order something, and I arrive to the checkout page from the basket (main manu bar is changing to default) the order confirmation arrives to the default language and the confirmation language is english. When I click on the checkout menu, as I mentioned above the menu bar remains the on the language I used (e.g. german) then the order confirmation will be german as well.

József,

Thanks for the detailed description - it helped me narrow possibilities and find the issue on our end in the Router file which was defaulting to the * menu items first (without checking if the current language menu item exen existed). I am working on it now and I will make sure it is included in the upcoming 6.6.2 release that we are planning on releasing shortly.

Update: When I lpgin inth gemran site, after login I'm redirected to the default language as well.

And I was not precise. If I start to finish the checkout from the chekcout menu item (not from the basket page checkout button), then OK, I will get the order confirmation in german, but still the menu bar changes to dfault english.

I guess anything I do in the webshop which is a next purchase step I get back to the default english version.

I'm an experienced Joomla user, configured several webhsops: Hikashop, JStore, Virtuemart, non-Joomla webshops as Oscommerce, Ecwid, Shopify, but I must say I never faced such an endless story as by J2Commerce. I have chosed J2Commerce, becasue it seemed to be a good and easy way to configure a webshop based on articles.
Sorry to say that Adam. I have my own cutomers, I hate of course when they are problematic, this way I try not to be a problematic one, but it seems I cannot. As I solve one issue I face another with the multilingual site.

József,

I appreciate your patience with us. Version 6 was released early May of this year so there are still items that are less refined as others, but keeps getting better with time. Multi-language is one area that we are unfortunately growing with you on , but will work to make sure these items are resolved quickly for you and the rest of our users as they arise. You are not a problematic customer for us in any way - you are using J2Commerce the way it should be and sometimes, the cutting edge also happens to be the bleeding edge. With that being said, I will email you the pre-release version of 6.6.2 so your store can continue to function with the new multi-lingual fixes as well as the new multilingual email updates shown in the screenshots below:
