v4 vs v6 , avif pictures and SP Page Builder

Hello,

First of all, thank you team, for all your efforts!
I have j2s v4 working as expected on my joomla 5 website.

Now I am testing v6 on a test j6 website.
I made a website j5 copy, uninstall  j2commerce v4, upgrade joomla 6, fresh install j2commerce v6 
(I have not so many products and the changes i made in j5 are not compatible with j6)

I use for menu "Product Category List View" 

2 problems I am currently running into:
1. It looks like i can not get .avif files to work in the product - images tab. : webp no problems.
2. The sp page builder page article is not showing for Product Page Surface - Product Page.

Is j2commerce not yet compatible with avif images and sp page builder?

Hello Boudewijn,

quick question for you:

Joomla does not support AVIF images out of the box. Did you set up the Joomla Media Manager to support those files? This is mandatory to do first.

 Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Log in to your Joomla Administrator Dashboard.
  • Go to Content -> Media
  • Click on the Options button in the top right corner
  • Locate the following fields and add avif / image/avif:
    • Legal Extensions (File Types): Add , avif
    • Legal Image Extensions (File Types): Add , avif
    • Legal MIME Types: Add image/avif
  • Save & Close.

For SP Page Buyilder, can you send us some screenshots or a video explaining what you are talking about?

The .avif was already supported/added in J6 Media options.
With J5/J2Cv4 no problems showing .avif.

EDIT: I just installed latest update, the avif problem is solved.

For J6/J2Cv6 the product page is showing joomla editor html, not the page builder data.
Again, in J5/J2Cv4 no problems showing page builder page.
