I am pleased to see the J2Store project now continues as J2Commerce. Very pleased, indeed!When you say 'pre sales' I don't see a price on the core app itself, though on a handful of modules and apps - some of which I may have used in the past (and may indeed be using now on an important client of mine). Will a fresh install recognize any that I may have paid for? My client will not complain if we need to renew something, but as I am about to try do do something complicated on the existing install (J4), I will want to add anything with a price attached to my estimate.And besides, we certainly want to support ongoing development!Would you advise downloading the current version now? (v 4.0.0-beta-2 PRO on Joomla 4.4.14; I see you're 5-ready.)

if you are under Joomla 4 with version 4.0.0 beta 2 PRO, I would suggest you install 4.0.5 first (https://github.com/j2commerce/j2cart/releases/download/v4.0.5/com_j2store_v4-4.0.5-pro.zip) to ensure the database receives the proper modifications. After that, you will be notified of the next version through the Joomla console updates screen.
The core extension will remain free (we will remove pricing on the PRO version and make it free).
We will only charge for the extra you need and not what you don't. So any add-on you may have used in the past will remain free if it was free, or be available for purchase soon, if it is not already the case. So the strike on the prices will eventually be removed... And you can base your client's estimates on those prices.
It's been over a year since we took over the project, so we no longer recognize any license you may have purchased in the past with the previous developers and you will need to update/download/purchase all add-ons to receive the latest modifications.
