I have an unused installation on this site, and nee to unistall safely. Tried to unistall little by littel, but got an error and had to reinstall backup. Please inform how to do this without issues.

Hello Kim,

first, make sure you disable modules and plugins releated to J2Store.

You can do it safely two different ways:

  • manually through Manage -> Extensions in the Joomla console.
  • or if you are ok with dealing with the database:

Unpublish all J2Store modules:

UPDATE `tada_modules`
SET `published` = 0
WHERE `module` LIKE 'mod_j2store%';

Disable all J2Store plugins:

UPDATE `tada_extensions`
SET `enabled` = 0
WHERE `type` = 'plugin'
AND (
`folder` = 'j2store'
OR `element` LIKE '%j2store%'
);

Replace 'tada' with your database prefix.

If you have installed add-ons that are not part of the main extension, uninstall those first.

Then proceed with the removal of J2Store.
