Antonio Cornacchia

Hi, after migrating to J2commerce 6, I’m trying to edit the notification email templates.
I’ve noticed that the existing templates I had customized have been overwritten or deleted by the new defaults. Only the templates I added myself remain intact.

Another issue: I usually prefer to use the Joomla editor (JCE), and I’ve noticed that shortcodes are available for the templates inherited after the migration (attachment 1). However, if I want to edit a default template—such as the subscription templates—using JCE, the shortcodes are no longer available (attachment 2). Why is that?
Best regards

Antonio,

There are 15 subscription templates already built out that also include subscription shortcodes that wouldn't appear in the Email Template builder without the v6 version. Olivier is finishing up his final few edits on it and then it will be ready to go. The upcoming 6.6 release will also address the language translations for emails (using language strings) so should be a huge improvement for you when both drop shortly.
