#575 Page view layout different after migration

Hello Olivier,

I have another migration from J2Store V3 to J2Commerce.

I think I have followed all the migration steps.
Only one strange thing: J2MigrationChecker can't be uninstalled under Joomla5. But it's not the subject of this post.

All seem to be ok in front-end on Joomla5.4 and J2Commerce, except page product layout:

On test site (Joomla5) : https://nwd11.cloudaccess.host/produits/scelles-de-securite/scelles-reglables/miniflex
On production site (Joomla3) : https://www.transplis-metalex.fr/produits/scelles-de-securite/scelles-reglables/miniflex

Can you help to have a look?

Let me know if I have to pay any thing.

Xavier,

you have to make sure you modify the Bootstrap version used to the one your template is using. Most likely Bootstrap 5 under Joomla 5. I did it for you.

However, you don't see the right layout because there are overrides to the Bootstrap classes in the custom.css of the template.

That prevents the columns to function properly.

Thanks for your reply, I have cancelled the old Bootstrap css,the structure is ok now.

Anyway can you let me know how to get 3 fields not displayed after migration (see image enclosed):

1- Social networks

2- class="product-compare"

3- class="label info"

Those 3 fields are displayed on production site and not on test site.

Xavier,

whatever was available in Joomla 3 needs to be updated.

For example, the social share plugin needs to be updated for Joomla 4, you can download from https://www.j2commerce.com/extensions/apps/social-media-share, install and enable.

Product compare is not yet available, but we have it 'in the pipe' for release later.

As far as notifications, I am not sure which extension was used, please check the list of apps for J2Store on your old site the determine which extension was used for it.

Thanks for your reply.

No Joomla3 App is relevant for the label "Vous aurez la possibilité de demander un devis avant de confirmer votre commande", anyway we will find another solution on Joomla5.
