I have an interesting use case, and maybe this is easier than anticipated.

1. Joomla 5.2.x and J2Commerce most recent version. Paypal checkout, and I am using EasyCheckout

2. I am an author of many religious documents. The physical books are ordered and shipped by the normal cart process

3. But, I have a LOT of documents in PDF for download.

Here is my conundrum. By making the article that lists the PDF as 'downloadable', I need to streamline the process.

Instead of returning from paypal, and sending the email to the requester, with the token in the email to 'login' to get the download, I wish to eliminate that step. (P.S: We do NOT allow registrations, only guest checkouts for security/legal reasons.

What would be ideal is if, once returning from PayPal, it bypasses the email and goes directly to the download page to download the file. As all of J2store is based on a Joomla session, once the browser is closed, the session is lost.

And if we could still send the email for 'logging in later' with the token, that would be an added benefit.

This is not necessarily a feature request for the most part.. I have toyed with the idea of taking a crack at it myself.

Opinions?

Thanks

Bishop Brian
