Hello,

The product export and import module is great!

Unfortunately, it does not take into account the path of the downloadable file.

Would it be possible to include this field in the CSV?

This would be a very useful feature for those who sell dozens or even hundreds of downloadable files.

Thank you for your interest.

Best regards,

Olivier

Hi Damien,

so I make sure I understand:

do you mean you would like the path to the download folder to be automatically added to files rather than having the full path per file in the CSV file?

Olivier.

Hello Olivier,

Thank you for your reply.

You are right: in order for the import to work correctly, it is necessary to have the full file path for each file in the CSV file.

1. Downloadable file paths

Ideally, an additional field could be provided, for example: product_file_save_name = /13/myproject.pdf

During the import, when a value is set in this field, the information is correctly retrieved in:
Article > J2Store Cart tab > Downloadable > Files > Product Files.

2. Additional fields to import / export

It would be very useful (as they are mandatory) to be able to import and export the following fields:

  • Download Limit
  • Download Expiration (in days)

3. Note after import

After the import, the new article does not contain any values for the following dates:

  • Start Publishing
  • Created Date
  • Modified Date

In the _content table, the corresponding fields (publish_up, created, modified) are set to: 0000-00-00 00:00:00.

As a result, it is not possible to display this information via dynamic fields in a template (e.g. Yootheme)
Could these fields be populated during the import process?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Thank you very much for your interest and your help!

Kind regards

Olivier

Damien,

I will check the dates, they should be null and not '0000-00-00 00:00:00'.

I will make sure we add your other requests in a future release. Thank you!

Olivier.
