What great news that someone has taken over the J2Store project!
I was a J2Store user and had to switch to another solution to be able to update Joomla.
So what would be great, and it's the only thing missing before I can switch to J2Commerce, would be if you redeveloped the Booking app.
Is this in your plans?

We are equally as thrilled that we picked up this project as well :)
I am not sure the exact status, but I know Olivier had an updated version of the the Bookings & Reservations app working and was fixing some small bugs in it so I will assign this tocket to him so he can keep you updated on it.

the Booking app has been put on hold for a while, I have to assess what are the remaing issues before we can release it.

It turns out that much of the code in the booking app is unstable and depends heavily on outdated patterns. Given the number of modern Joomla booking extensions that now offer a far better experience, we decided to pause development on this add‑on for the time being.
We’ll reassess the need for a dedicated booking solution once J2Commerce v6 is released, as its new architecture will provide a much stronger foundation for adding this kind of functionality.
