Hi,
it would be great if we could use the basic layout of the Joomla email templates for the J2commerce emails.
Do you think you will implement that?

Sigrid,
we are still debating because we have more advanced features that fall short in the Joomla email templating. For instance, the ability to add/modify PHP code inside the emails.
If we move simple emails to the Joomla email templates, we then have emails in one place and the advanced emails (php files) in another.
Any suggestions are welcome. Ultimately, we want to get as close to Joomla as possible.

Hi Olivier,
yes, I understand the implications and thanks for letting me know, that you thought about it.
It is just more difficult in 2025 to explain clients why the default email templates don't look like the other emails and there needs to be some extra work done.
