Everybody will be able to see its contents. Do not include usernames, passwords or any other sensitive information.

In Product List View > Category View Options tab we can set the Subcategory Level value having chosen the main category in the details tab.
The missing piece in the output is to allow to display Yes/No for Category Title & Category Description.
This would allow for top cat items and sub cat items to be shown in a product list and show 'sections' of the page, displaying the Category title and description if required.
