Gents-

In the 4.1.5 version, for the Subscription App- Is there a way to manually pop a member into a subscription. For example. One of the benefits of purchasing a product (not a subscription) on the site we give is a 1 year access at our "beginner" tier access, a free tier.

I do have that mapped to happen when they make the purchase so it drops them into that tier so it's all cool. What would be even cooler is to be able to then assign them to the "subscription" for that tier, so that as their one year comes to a close, they get reminded automatically to either bump up to a higher tier, or just buy something else to get another year in the "free" tier.

and i suck at the whole "manually tracking" thing. :)

Bob,

That is a great question and what the trial subscription part was intended for. You could update the beginner tier so it's a 1 year trial and then add a price that it would convert to after the year is done unless they cancel. The other option is to use an email marketing system like Klaviyo, active campaign, brevo, omnisend (v6 versions) that would automatically trigger emails after x months to start upselling them on the paid subscriptions....
