hey adam and olivier!

thanks for the session this morning at the chicago jug..

i asked the question about wix and printify, to be honest, i committed to someone, i would help them get off wix.. and turns out they have a  wix ecommerce connected to printify, i guess. i have no idea how that is all linked up, but i guess it seems that printify is linked to the ecommerce to be sold through, i suppose..

so im thinking, i could use j2commerce to connect to printify, to sell on j2commerce, that would then trigger the sale to printify?

anyways, i heard you say you're releasing a plugin soon, could i gain access to that to help test it perhaps? knowingly it will or could be buggy? if it will be a paide plugin, i will pay for it..

please let me know, thanks!

Kee,

It was good to see you on the Zoom this morning. Regarding the Printify plugin, I initially overbuilt it and now need to dumb it down a little - the functionality is there, I need to make sure it's user friendly for even your client to be able to use. As far as how it works:

  • Client already has Printify shop with products that are linked to Wix to essentially sell the merch , collect the money, and then push the order to Printify for fullfillment.
  • The J2Commerce version does the same thing - it automatically imports all of the products, descriptions, images from the Printify store , then collects the money using whatever payment method the client uses, and then when there is an order places with Printify items, it sends the order info to Printify awaiting the client's approval to ship. It has an option to automatically fullfill but since it's auto linked to a credit card, I wouldn't recommend it...
  • You are golden as far as the  Printify side goes. The only x factor would be the wix migration, but if their entire store is nothing but Printify, then the products are covered, and we might be able to get away with exporting the orders and customer info into a spreadsheet at the worst case scenario...
