Is there a way to have a guest checkout for the advanced checkout?
I have set up the cart and checkout, but when you add something to the cart and then go to checkout,
it asks you to log in

Everybody will be able to see its contents. Do not include usernames, passwords or any other sensitive information.

Yes, the guest checkout is available in Advanced Checkout.
However, in your case, you get a javascript error, which prevents the page to show properly.
I corrected the typo, now you should see the guest form.
